COVID19 Measures: Pick up orders: Please ring the black doorbell when you arrive and we will bring your order out to you. If entering the building, please wear a mask and sanitize your hands. Order from the safety of your home knowing that we have increased measures of social distancing and sanitation for your safety and ours. We diligently practice all measures suggested by the CDC and our whole team is pool tested weekly as a preventative measure in spreading the COVID-19 virus. Doorstep delivery is available. If you will need assistance unpacking the order in your home or business, we will be wearing a mask and request that you do also. Thank you for understanding.

PFAS Chemicals in local food: We have reached out to all of our local food suppliers and requested to be informed of any test results and measures being taken on their land. At this time we do not use any locally sourced ingredients that have been effected by PFAS chemicals. For more information on the topic area, please visit  Maine.gov . This is nationwide problem and Maine is taking great care for the land, and the livelyhood of our farmers.  To show your support in PFAS chemical remediation efforts in Maine contact your local State Representative. 

Avian Bird Flu in Maine: The HPAI A(H5) avian flu virus is present in the State of Maine. We are watching the updates closely. At this time it is safe to eat properly handled and cooked poultry and eggs in the United States. The proper handling and cooking of poultry and eggs to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F kills bacteria and viruses, including HPAI A(5) viruses. The Maine Meal follows all updates and guidance set forth by the Department of Ag and CDC to ensure the health and wellbeing of our customers and our team.
